Offsides!

And the excuses roll in! So, I have some fabulous pics of the rugby festival (see “crouch touch pour”), for which I was waiting…Unfortunately, my computer is not co-operating, so, due to popular demand
I have decided to write without the pics!
This is not easy, as the event is a dim but fantastic memory – but it will teach me to blog timeously!
The festival – what a party! We were voted the stand with the most fabulous of fabulous customers (Sole judge and adjudicator – The Baron). This will be self evident when the pics are posted! The Cappuccino’s rocked, and the compliments flowed.
Arriving at the venue, for me, is always the best part. Crisp air, wispy mist, rising sun burning through the haziness… Just beautiful. And, of course, that mouthwatering, tantalising smell of freshly ground and brewed Italian espresso’s eminating from the Caffe Pronto place of business.
Madam(e) Coco and her two cohorts (Part Time Pete 1 & 2) were, for the most part, on top form (as you will notice from the pics that WILL be published – power of constant reinforcement).
The cries of “Cappuccino’s for sale” were heard through the stands, as The Baron took his wares to the people.
Suffice to say – a record weekend, with our patrons well satisfied, and minimal injuries on our side (a couple of bee stings, and one or two knocks).
And the beers were ice cold at the end of each day!

There we were, four against four thousand……. What a blast!
Easter Rugby Festival at KES – much frivolity and festivity,,,,, and coffee,,,,,, and smoothies,,,,,, and stuff..
Miss Macchiato (see characters tab) was laid low with a broken arm from a motorbike accident the day before (Baron very proud of this fact!). So her role this weekend was cast – in plaster – lay low..
Madame Coco (see characters tab) was all ready and raring to go – AND on time, along with her two Part Time Pete’s (see characters tab
) in tow.
The Baron (see…. ah never mind) was, well, The Baron – modest, quiet, reserved and demure – NOT!
On arrival, we could sense, this was going to be a biggie – Caffe Pronto, set up in their regular, prime spot, ready for the masses – Tents, Vendors, Tattoo Parlours, Beer Tents, Big Screen TV’s, and yes, the hallowed rugby field of KES – prepared for the Warriors!
So, prepare yourselves for the tales of the festival, and others…. And, some Vivacious Visuals to boot!
The first, and far from the last

It was amazing how often this picture has been sent to me, so, to open my new blog with it was strangely appropriate. It contains everything that I know this new venture into the world according to Blog will bring – Delightful Descriptions, Fabulous Fun, Some Silly Smiles, Sassy Sexiness (cause thats what coffee is all about), and of course, Vivacious Visuals!
